Most of you who are part of this newsletter community know me already.
You’ve maybe practiced yoga with me, had an Ayurvedic consultation, or joined a workshop somewhere between Vienna, Tenerife, California or online.
But there might be some things you still don’t know about me…
And because my work is so deeply personal, I wanted to open a little window today and let you see more of who is actually behind the Ayurveda–Yoga–Meditation Path.
A Few Things You Might Not Know About Me
I love silence.
I love writing.
I love music.
I love to dance, to sing, to paint.
I love water, flowers, and nature.
And I feel deeply humbled by the ocean.
I’m not the adventurous type in a conventional sense,
yet I had the courage to search for truth
and to jump when my Zen Master pushed me over the cliff.
I love stillness while being in motion.
I love to move while being still.
My new passion is moving meditation – meditating while moving, and moving as meditation.
If you’d like to see a little of that journey, you can watch my 2-minute introduction video with original photos from different stages of my life and work on my website.

Between Worlds – And At Home in All of Them
I was born Austrian,
but I’ve lived about a third of my life in the United States.
Now I live in Tenerife, Spain.
I am drawn to the cultures of India, Japan, and England:
· I love India for its ancient teachings and its colorful chaos and diversity.
· I love everything Japanese for its simplicity, beauty, and perfectionism.
· I love England for its tea culture, deep mysticism, and its writers and musicians.
I love languages.
I speak German, English, French, a little Italian,
and I’m just learning Spanish.
If you’d like to read more about how my life moved from the Vienna State Opera to New York, London, California, India, and back to Vienna again, I wrote a longer story about it here:

“How My Life Transformed: From Dancer to Sannyasin to Mother”
You’ll find it under Articles on my website here.
What Really Matters to Me
My core values are very simple and very strong:
Family, Truth, and Loyalty INTEGRITY.
What I really don’t like is:
Alcoholism, smoking, drugs, and falsehood – because I’ve seen how they can destroy lives, families, and our connection to dignity.
I love to be by myself,
yet, I miss my sons and husband terribly when we are apart.
I love my close friends,
but I see and speak to them too little.
Physically and mentally, I’m a Pitta–Vata constitution —
disciplined, creative, sometimes intense or overwhelmed.
Emotionally and spiritually, I am Kapha —
loving and caring deeply, often forgetting myself.
I live what I teach, and teach what I love.
I am far from being perfect,
and when I try to be, I usually fail.
Over time, I have come to see perfection in all of life
and to honor what I am given.
How I Meet Life Today
Gratitude
has become a way of meeting life and difficulties head-on.
Awareness
of every extraordinary-ordinary moment is my daily meditation.
Truthfulness
is the most important quality for me in human relationships.
Health
in every sense – physical, mental, emotional, spiritual – is my daily focus of practice.
I love to be a mother, yet I also struggle with it.
I love freedom, yet I often catch myself trying to control what I cannot.
I am still learning every day
how to express myself to the fullest,
while knowing, I am already all that I can be.
I love to share what I know,
and I am still learning how to master the art of it.
How Who I Am Shapes My Work
All of this – the silence, the discipline of a dancer, the chaos of India, the stillness of meditation, the mess and beauty of family life – flows into how I work as an Ayurveda–Yoga coach and teacher.
When someone comes to me for 1:1 Ayurveda-Yoga Coaching, 1:1 private Yoga, or joins The Ayurveda–Yoga Path, they don’t just receive techniques.
They meet a person who has walked through performance, burnout, spiritual seeking, heartbreak, healing, and the humility of starting again.
My greatest value in this work is integrity.
To stand by my word.
To live what I teach.
To be grounded in the truth of who I am and what I have to offer.
I don’t call myself “Yoga Acharya” or master lightly.
If this title belongs to me, it is not because of certificates or marketing,
but because my life and my practice are one and the same.
What I coach is how I live.
What I teach is what I practice when nobody is watching.
My wish is always to serve the highest good of all –
my clients, my family, and this wider field we all live in.

If You Feel a Resonance…

Maybe you recognize yourself in parts of this story:
in the search, in the discipline, in the longing for stillness and truth.

I appreciate each person life brings me into contact with,
and I feel honored every time I can support someone
with the gifts I have been given.
In the end, I am a wonderfully ordinary person
in this extraordinary existence,
knowing I am free,
still realizing and living it day by day.
I bow to you as I bow to life.
Namaste
